Find Your Flow
People of ALL fitness levels can benefit from Yoga or wellness training at our studio. We strive to incorporate movement methodologies beyond yoga. Our objective is to offer classes that meets everyone where they are, providing them with a platform to grow in strength, confidence, and courage.

VINYASA I
In this yoga class we marry breath to movement. This is a great place to start with a class tempo that gradually builds. There is an emphasis on greater explanation and fine tuning of the poses and transitions.
VINYASA II
In this yoga class there is a baseline understanding of common yoga poses, and transitioning. In a Vinyasa 2 the tempo is faster, the transitions require more strength and balance, and newer more difficult poses are unlocked.

SCULPT
A full-body workout. In these classes you tap into the wealth of knowledge of your instructor. These classes are a blend of Barre, Pilates, HIIT, Yoga, Buti, and more. Sometimes weights are incorporated as are resistance bands. Ideal for those looking to tone, build endurance, and get their dose of cardio.
POWER YOGA
Similar to a Vinyasa 2 but expect some drills as we now begin to incorporate arm balances to the class.
Those with wrist pain or injury can still take this class but should be ready to work a little harder. Forearm plank is more difficult than your standard plank!

AIREAL YOGA
AIReal yoga is unlike any other practice, and not just because of the obvious addition of the yoga hammock. In an AIReal class you can expect to gain both strength and mobility faster and safer than in a floor based practice. This is because the hammock will allow you to get deeper into poses and hold them for longer. Supported by the hammock, you can also reap benefits from poses that you couldn't access or hold otherwise all while building the confidence, mobility, and strength to add them to your practice out of the hammock in the future.
AIReal yoga is exceptionally amazing and beneficial for anyone suffering from back pain, scoliosis, or even a spinal fusion.
BUTI YOGA
BUTI yoga is a unique practice, known for it's cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement, and conditioning. Created by celebrity trainer Bizzie Gold, it's designed to offer a calorie-scorching, body-sculpting, and dynamic yoga practice. In heated classes the cardio portion of the sequence is dropped.

R3BAR TRAINING
The R3BAR is an athletic performance enhancement, general health & wellness exercise, pre-habilitation, therapeutic & active recovery and rehabilitation tool. Its primary purpose is to train and teach the foundational stability necessary to establish and maintain optimum, safe, efficient, and productive posture and mobility.
The R3Bar offers a wide range of exercise modalities that emphasize connective strength through the core and joint stabilization of the entire kinetic chain, thus improving posture, balance, strength, mobility, and enhancing overall functional movement as well as preserving joint integrity.
HEALTHY AGING YOGA
These classes are designed with one goal in mind, youthful vitality in any body. You are only as old as you feel and these classes are designed to safely build strength and endurance in a fun and caring environment!
With consistency expect to see an improvement in flexibility, posture, balance, and overall wellbeing.

YOGA FOR BEGINNERS
This class is designed as an intro for anyone completely new to yoga. During the class we go through the most common poses, hone in on the fundamentals, and touch on the importance of breath to movement.
The class is done in a workshop format, so expect to leave with some valuable tips you can take with you in your own practice. At the end of class stick around and the instructor can help point you towards classes that best fit your goals and current conditioning.
SPA YOGA
The only place you will find Spa Yoga in Rhode Island is here at Phoenix Rising. SPA yoga is a slow-flow, floor-based, whole-body sensory experience based on Fluid Yoga sequencing. By engaging all five of the senses with soft candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists and a renewed awareness of taste (and sometimes chocolate!), SPA aligns practitioners with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation.

MAT PILATES
Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on building core strength, stability, and flexibility using a series of movements performed on a mat. These movements are designed to engage the muscles of the abdomen, back, hips, and legs, with an emphasis on proper alignment and breath control. With its low-impact, high-intensity approach, mat Pilates is a great way to improve posture, balance, and overall physical fitness.
